Wurlitzer Opus 1895, a Model 260 Special, was installed in The Regent Theatre, Adelaide in 1928 by J E Dodd & Sons. When the theatre closed in 1967 the organ was removed to its current site in Memorial Hall, St Peters College. |
A fire in December 1985 destroyed the building, but most of the organ was saved. Replacement pipes for those stolen after the fire were obtained and a four rank mixture was added to the organ. |
